Last week we held a Stay & Play session in our Nursery (which we call the Monte), for current parents to come in and join their children for the day. Parents had great fun exploring the setting with their children, and meeting other Monte parents.

During their Forest School sessions this week our Nursery (Monte) and Reception (K Group) classes went to meet the St Chris goats and alpacas. They enjoyed finding out all about how the animals are looked after and what they eat.

It’s been a great week for Forest School this week and we’ve been very grateful for the beautiful apple trees and their shade! Here are our Nursery (Monte) children enjoying their Forest School lesson – they made clay owls, climbed the trees and enjoyed getting to grips with the slackline!

This week we made campfire chips in the Nursery (Monte)! The children grew the potatoes in the vegetable garden and we dug them up last Friday.
