Once you have accepted your place at St Chris you will be sent a welcome pack the term before your child starts which includes information about joining the School. You will also be sent joining instructions for our Parent Portal.
You will also be invited to a number of events in the summer term including a year group transition day for children, and a social meet and greet event for new families.
If your child is entering a year at the start of an exam course (Year 10 or Year 12) they will be contacted by a member of the academic team to discuss their subject choices for GCSE or A-level.

For pupils with an EHCP plan and remote learning is required, the Teaching Assistant (Junior School)/Learning Support Assistant (Senior School) who works with that child will make daily contact with them (via Teams) to offer support in accessing learning tasks or to provide tasks that meet the targets set out in their Individual Education Plan (IEP). The teacher may also make regular contact with the pupil to offer direct instruction and differentiation of tasks set. Dependent on the needs of the child, we would expect that these children would also access any live or pre-recorded video sessions that the teacher provides to the class.
St Chris PE kit is compulsory for children in the Senior School, and encouraged from Year 3 onwards (G Group) in the Junior School.
PE kit can be bought from our suppliers SWI. Please visit the SWI online shop here.
