Accessibility

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

Accessibility

We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines. However, if you have trouble using the site, please let us know so that we can try to fix the problem.

This website endeavours to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.

This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant HTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display it correctly.

While we strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.

We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall accessibility. In the meantime should you experience any difficulty in accessing this website, please don’t hesitate to¬†contact us.

Web standards

This website has been designed using web standards. We use valid HTML (HTML5) for content, CSS for presentation, with some unobtrusive JavaScript for behaviour.

Covid-19 Information

Due to the containment measures associated with the COVID-19 outbreak, St Chris is currently physically closed for mainstream schooling. We continue to operate remotely to offer virtual learning for all of our pupils and our top priorities are to:

  • Continue to support and move forward the learning goals of each class or subject;
  • Support our pupils pastorally;
  • Support families as they navigate challenges that arise with work schedules and childcare.

Current Parents

Full details of our remote learning arrangements and resources, pastoral care and safeguarding information have been emailed to parents. Please visit our parent portal for updated information. Staff contact details can be found by clicking here.

If you are a prospective family looking for a school for your child, our Admissions Office is open and members of our Admissions Team are available to talk to. They can answer any questions you may have about the school and how to apply, set up virtual meetings with key teachers and can send you a video tour of the site while the School is closed.

As well as offering video tours, we are also organising a small number of socially distanced tours of the School to those families looking for places for September 2020. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more.
