St Chris School Fees
St Chris fees are as inclusive as possible and reviewed each year. The day fee includes tuition, most activities at school, games, textbook loans, and internet access. The boarding fee includes all the above plus breakfast, dinner, laundry, the majority of weekend and evening activities and all EAL tuition where required (some activities, for example, horse riding, are charged in addition).
From 1 January 2025 fees paid to independent schools for education services, board and lodging are subject to VAT. The fees listed below include VAT where applicable.

For Early Years students, the following are included in the fees:

Lunch from Monday to Friday during term time. Morning and afternoon snacks.
- Wraparound Care is included from 08:00 to 08:30 and from 15:30 to 16:30. Additional Wraparound Care is available before school from 7:30 and after school from 16:30 to 18:30, and is charged in addition.
- Weekly music, swimming, French and Forest School sessions.
- Clubs and after-school activities. Exceptions, where there is an additional charge, are clearly communicated with full costs in advance
- Termly trips and visits
Tax-Free Childcare Scheme
St Chris is registered with the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme, designed to help working families with the cost of childcare. Through the scheme, eligible parents can receive up to £500 every three months, per child.
The scheme is available for children aged up to 11 years of age (until the September after their 11th birthday) and can be used for:
- Elements not included in compulsory education, and
- Childcare provided outside school hours (such as wraparound care).

Junior School

For Junior School students, the following are included in the fees:
- In Years 1 and 2, lunch is included within the fees from Monday to Friday during term time.
- Wraparound Care from 08:00 to 08:30. Additional Wraparound Care is available before school from 7:30am and after school from 15:30 to 18:30, and is charged in addition.
- All curriculum activities e.g. music, swimming, French and Forest School sessions,
- Clubs and after-school activities. Exceptions, where there is an additional charge, are clearly communicated with full costs in advance
- Termly trips and visits
Senior School and Sixth Form

- Full Boarders:
- All meals during term time
- All EAL lessons and IELTS preparation lessons where required
- Weekend activity programme. Exceptions, where there is an additional charge, are communicated clearly with full costs in advance
Please note the following are not included within the fees
- Transport to and from school
- External exam charges (for example, at GCSE and A Level / BTEC)
Sibling Discount
An allowance of 2.5% of main session fees is given for second and subsequent children, where the other child/children attend the School as pupils in Nursery or above. This stays in force as long as an elder brother or sister remains at the school.
Optional Extras
Lunch
Charged each term, per term in arrears for Day students. If parents wish for their children to have a school lunch, they should email billings@stchris.co.uk to opt in.

Payment of Fees
You will be sent an invoice for fees before the start of each term. Fees are due on or before the first day of each term and can be paid termly by bank transfer or by monthly Direct Debit. Any extra costs payable in arrears (for example music tuition) will be billed at the end of each term.
