On Saturday our boarders had a great day out at Hamerton Zoo Park in Cambridgeshire. They saw monkeys, sleeping tigers, crazy meerkats and wallabies and had lots of fun!

This weekend our boarders made some delicious crepes in the Vege Centre – great choice of toppings everyone!

At the weekend our boarders visited the beach heading to Frinton-on-Sea in Essex for a day in the sunshine!

This week, our boarders were able to make the most of the recent relaxation in coronavirus restrictions, and enjoyed a day of climbing and water sports at Grafham Water. They also enjoyed a pizza making session in the Vege Centre!

We had great fun this weekend in the boarding house making bubble tea. Originating in Taiwan, bubble tea is made with chewy tapioca balls and in a variety of different flavours! Our boarders also enjoyed the spring sunshine playing football in the grounds.

Last night we held a Boarders Quiz in the school theatre. Lots of boarders joined in and competition was fierce! Picture rounds included “identify the badly drawn film poster”, “celebrity mashups”, “logos” and “name the biscuit”! It was a tightly fought race with Team Kiwi coming out on top with 39.5 points – Well done…

During lockdown Maggie in Year 10 (IV Group) produced some beautiful artwork when she was at home in China. Her series on Plants & Humans is being printed and produced to display in the boarding house this term. Amazing work Maggie!

This week boarders in Arundale Boarding House enjoyed a waffle night together. Houseparent Cecilia is famous at St Chris for her amazing waffles, and our boarders, new and old, enjoyed getting together after school to enjoy a sweet treat.

This weekend our boarders enjoyed some late summer sunshine on a trip to the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. The Garden holds a collection of over 8,000 plant species from all over the world to facilitate teaching and research, and has dedicated autumn and winter gardens which means they are a beautiful place to visit at…
