Inspired by their learning about deforestation, the children in the Junior School Be Green Society recently spoke to the School about letting them try some palm oil free biscuits.

They thought they were yummy, and much better for the rainforests and the orangutans who live in them.

Two councillors took the campaign to the School Council to ask them whether the School should switch to having only palm oil free biscuits.

They voted unanimously for change, so now when we have snacks at clubs or on trips, the children know they are doing their bit for the forests and the animals that live in them on the other side of the world.
