Recently, III Group (Year 9) students took part in the GCHQ National Language Competition during the week of 6 November.

The Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) provides intelligence, protects information, and informs relevant UK policy to keep society safe in the digital age. The National Language Competition (NLC) is a virtual competition where teams from schools around the UK compete against each other to solve language-based puzzles and score points. The NLC aims to inspire language learning by encouraging students to discover their aptitude for learning languages.

Our pupils Blaise, Mabel, William, Amelie, Maxwell, Lydia, Imogen and Michi did incredibly well. Although they did not win the competition they completed the most challenges out of all the teams and got a certificate from GCHQ! Well done everyone.
