Nestled within the expansive grounds of St Chris, our Junior School Forest School recently played host to a magical ‘Stay and Play’ session, welcoming prospective families into the enchanting world of outdoor learning. Led by our passionate Junior School Forest School teacher Lydia Somerville, this week’s session was not only a celebration of nature but also an opportunity for prospective families to witness firsthand the transformative experiences awaiting their children at St Chris.
K Group (Reception) took the lead in extending a warm welcome to the prospective families, showcasing the friendly and inclusive atmosphere that defines St Chris. These young nature enthusiasts proved outstanding at explaining the rules of Forest School, ensuring that our visitors felt not just welcome, but also part of the forest community.
The session witnessed a remarkable display of newfound confidence among the visiting pupils.
