On I Group (Year 7) Transition day, pupils loved having a session down in Arunwood in the sun, studying and drawing the Alpacas, pygmy goats and chinchillas.

Down in Arunwood, we have a range of animals from pygmy goats to sugar gliders, and every week the Animal Care Club visits Arunwood to engage with the animals. This time, pupils transitioning to the Senior School visited Arunwood to study the animals on a very sunny day.

Pupils practised their drawing skills outside with the goats and inside with the other animals: the chinchillas, rabbits, hamster and sugar gliders. The art department were highly impressed with the results and the enthusiasm shown.

Please see below the marvellous artwork produced by pupils and them hard at work!
