Pupils recently embarked on a Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award assessed expedition in 30-degree heat!

Despite the weather, students did well at working together and keeping cool. The Duke of Edinburgh award is a multi-level award ranging through Bronze, Silver, and Gold. There are four sections to complete at Bronze level, so pupils have been working exceptionally hard. The award isn’t about being the first to achieve, but rather setting personal challenges and pushing the boundaries of what pupils thought previously possible.

We know that the pupils, despite the heat, thoroughly enjoyed the expedition and their skills and desire for challenge will transfer through all aspects of life, including in the classroom.
