Last night, the Junior School performance amazed a packed audience. Performing ecological musical Yanomamo, the students received a standing ovation.

A Junior School performance comprising of solos and ensembles, the Senior School orchestra and Junior School performers worked together to deliver a musical exploring the destruction of the Amazon Rainforest. Focusing on the Yanomamo tribe, the musical told of the effects of deforestation and its detrimental effect on the ecosystem and the rainforest’s inhabitants. The performance was delivered by the Junior Workshop Guild.

A huge well done to everyone who took part, as one audience member proclaimed, you were all ‘phenomenal’!
