III Group (Year 9) held a Charity Car Wash this week as part of their Charity Week for raising funds for Dogs on the Streets (dogsonthestreets.org) at lunch in the minibus car park from 12.50pm – 1.40pm.

The students organised 10-minute time slots for £10 and this was wildly popular with staff! Lyn even got the jet washer out to give the cars an extra clean after they’d been scrubbed down! The car wash was held to raise money for III Group’s nominated charity, Dogs on the Streets – the UK’s main charity supporting vulnerable communities with pet dogs. The money raised will help the charity provide critical care to dogs in need as well as allocating them to happy homes.
The charity even has a mobile veterinary surgery vehicle which means they can have ease of access to dogs in need. DOTS also ensures that essential services and items are provided, from food to new walking equipment plus training and grooming sessions.
III Group also arranged a session of Soak the Teacher this week which was attended by many! You can read about it here.
