On Monday 45 food students from IV and V Group and the Sixth Form went on a food tour of Spitalfields and Brick Lane.

We learnt about the rich cultural history of the area and how immigration over the years has influenced the food being sold.

We were lucky enough to try a lot of different foods including:  Pakora’s and samosas, Bangladeshi sweets, Ghanaian truffles, Jewish Beigel’s with salt beef, sour dough doughnuts and bubble tea from Taiwan.

It was an excellent day!
