Huge well done to our Year 7 & 8 swimming teams (Emily, Emily T, Taylor, Lydia and Ed, Marin, Carl, John) for their efforts and results in the District Swimming Gala yesterday. Alongwith 14 other schools, it was a big event and so it was great to see our boys achieve Bronze medals in their Medley relay and Carl achieved a Bronze medal for his 50m individual Breaststroke. It was also a notable accolade for our girls to come Second in their section overall (winning Silver Medley Relay medals, Bronze Freestyle Relay medals and a fantastic individual Silver medal for Emily T who came second in her 50m Freestyle event. It was also lovely that one of our Year 9 students, Barney could compete individually and get a Bronze medal for his Inter 50m Backcrawl. So, they were all medal winners!
