After a recent vote, some Junior Schools pupils wrote to Alison Simpson (our Food Services Manager) to ask for the return of china plates at lunchtime. This was agreed and in return the Junior School children will be extra careful in their lunchtime dining. Our thanks to the children for asking the question and for their help in ensuring a reduction of mess and food wastage! The Catering team have already seen an improvement in how the children are separating out the rubbish (napkins, containers, packaging) from the food waste.
