A reminder for all St Chris parents that the next session in our Parental Engagement Programme takes place on Monday 14 November at 7.00pm online.
The speaker is Katherine Cox and the theme is Supporting Teenagers with Homework.
Katherine Cox is a highly qualified and experienced School Leader with a background in Psychology and is a Lead Practitioner in Teaching and Learning. She has also written numerous resources on Psychology and has contributed to the most recent A level Psychology textbook.
She will be discussing the nature of homework, its impact and the support parents can give to the process including:
- Issues surrounding motivation and the organisation of homework
- Practical strategies to support teenagers
- Tips for organisation for different learning styles
There’ll also be the chance for questions at the end.
