On Tuesday, we hosted the first Swimming Gala of the year for Years 7 & 8 vs King James Academy.
All the swimmers and our Swim Squad Officials who supported with timing, were brilliant. It was lovely to see the girls who had taken part in our previous away gala, sharing race preparation tips they had learned with the rest of their team mates!
Although the team narrowly missed out on victory, all the swimmers achieved a Personal Best time in their individual races and 7 swimmers achieved a Bronze standard time; 2 achieved Silver and 2 achieved Gold!
