Our A Level Psychology students joined a live webinar on Wednesday evening to hear from the famous psychologist Philip Zimbardo.

They heard him speak about his famous Stanford Prison Experiment, where he gave his personal account of what happened and what makes the study still judged as one of the most unethical studies in the history of Psychology.

Zimbardo has also conducted important research on the psychology of heroism and is the founder of the Heroic Imagination Project, a non-profit organisation aimed at understanding and promoting everyday heroism. Students heard from Zimbardo and a colleague from this project about the work that it does.
