The III Group (Year 9) took part in the St Chris ‘Bake Off’ with Muffin Week – it was great to see some really ambitious bakes by all groups and we were particularly impressed by their organisation. The competitors were:
Colin’s Company – Art baked pear, ginger and dark chocolate muffins
Simon’s Company – William, Will, Buster and Toby baked Mint Aero muffins
Simran’s Company – Isaac, Jack, Ethan and Thomas baked Spinney white chocolate twirls
Many thanks to Maggie and Lyn who kindly helped judge the event (not much persuasion was needed!) – as always standards were extremely high and a huge well done to all the competitors. The winner was Art – well done, a particular achievement as a sole baker!
