Last week for Screen Free Day, one of the activities for pupils was to provide a video performance for our Care Home Concert.
During this last year, many people living in care homes have felt very isolated from their loved ones and the outside world.
We are aiming to create a ‘concert’ of musical performances featuring our many talented students, that can be sent to our local care homes for them to screen for their residents.
We’ve had some wonderful submissions and Head of Drama, Emma Roskilly, is currently putting the concert together.
If you didn’t get chance to do a performance on the day, but would still like to take part, there’s still time to send your performance in to Emma via email or via Teams, as she’ll be working on the concert at half term.
We’ll share the finished video featuring all the performers with you but, for now, to see you into the weekend, here’s Barnaby in Year 8, who improvised a jazz piece on the piano!
