Year 2 (H Group) have been learning about rivers as part of their Wind in the Willows topic.
They did an experiment to answer the question “Why are rivers wiggly?”
They used sand, soil, stones and water for their experiment and concluded that the water makes the stones and sand move to form a different channel for the water (river) to flow.
Rufus also found and had a good look at the river Hiz on his daily walk in Hitchin.
