The Junior School Gardening Club have been busy creating new flowerbeds around the playground area.

They are aiming to improve the biodiversity of our school playground, and attract more bees and butterflies in the summer, so they have planted flowers that will attract them including Oxeye daisies, Yellow loosestrife and Asters.

They made a fence round the flowerbed pictured, so other children won’t step on the plants. At the moment the plants are dormant, so you would hardly know they are there.

We’re looking forward to the summer so we can see all of their colours!
