Our Year 8 Rugby team recently entered a 10-a-side Rugby Festival at Stevenage Rugby club.  There were 12 local schools taking part, split into two pools. The games were all very fast-paced, being played on half a pitch and only 10 minutes long. As this was a festival there were no winners or losers.

Our games all proved to be closely fought matches with all sides playing some good rugby.  It was impressive to see how the St Chris team worked together considering a few boys had never played competitive rugby before and that this was the first time they had played as a group.

The day ended on a high with St Chris scoring a try seconds before the final whistle in our final game.  The boys represented the school well and we are proud of their achievements – it was a great afternoon of rugby!
