St Chris Pupils Celebrate GCSE Results

Staff and pupils at St Chris are celebrating a strong set of GCSE results with 84% of all marks awarded grades 9-4.

On average 60% of grades in biology, chemistry and physics were awarded 9-7 (A*/A) with pupils also achieving 55% 9-7 grades in music and 56% 9-7 grades in Art 3D.

Head, Richard Palmer said: “We are incredibly proud of how hard all of our pupils worked for their results. The learning skills they have developed as part of their GCSE courses will stand them in good stead for the Sixth Form.

There were a number of outstanding academic performances however, as a school that does not select pupils purely on their academic ability, it is the breadth of our results that we are most proud of, and they are a credit to our pupils and their teachers.”
