On Wednesday last week, we held our Sixth Form Information Evening for current parents and pupils in V Group (Year 11).
Pupils in V Group (Year 11) attended the Sixth Form Information Evening on Wednesday. Pupils and parents listened to a presentation by Jenny Savage, Assistant Head (Sixth Form), who spoke about the atmosphere and ethos of the St Chris Sixth Form while giving a flavour of life in Lower and Upper Sixth. Jenny’s speech was fuelled by enthusiasm and passion for the Sixth Form, particularly what it had to offer each individual.
Throughout the presentation, Jenny spoke about the A Level current offer and the freedom of no option blocks, expectations in the Sixth Form, and the kind of support available for pupils. Parents were also interested to hear about the 2023 A Level outcomes and destinations for previous Sixth Form pupils.
Following the talk, students visited the Sports Hall where pupils and parents met Heads of Department to learn more about their subjects and toured the Sixth Form Centre. Some really lively and engaging conversations were happening at all corners of the Hall, which was a delight to see.
