St Chris boys won the team competition at the Standalone 10k race in Letchworth on Sunday 2 October.

The team performance was extremely strong with all members completing the race with excellent times, with our fastest runner Joey coming second in the Junior Men’s U20 competition.

Richard Palmer, Head, said: “I’m really proud of the St Chris team performance which is a result of all the hard work and training they, and Head of PE Ian Hughes, have put in this term. They’ve focused not only on physical stamina but on the mental agility required to be successful over these distances. The event itself was brilliantly organised and had a really great community atmosphere – congratulations must also go to the organisers who put on an outstanding event for Letchworth.”

The St Chris times were as follows:

Joey Harrison 38.35

Jake Miles 39.57

Tom McClynmont 41.53

Sid Davies 41.53

Kieran Stevenson 43.27

Henry Balden 45.20

Harry Hoyle 45.21

Congratulations to you all!
