demainafficheJoin us on Wednesday 21 March at 7.00 pm for an English-language screening of the film Demain (Tomorrow)

The Climate is changing. Instead of showing all the worst that can happen, this documentary focuses on the people that are exploring practical solutions to the problems.

This 2015 documentary (115 minutes) won Best Documentary at the Cesar Awards (the French Oscars) and has had a huge impact.

Produced by French activists, this English language version tells of the search for solutions including the lessons to be learned from Britain’s Transition Town network.

This is a hugely positive, life-affirming and inspirational film, exploring creative solutions in the fields of food, energy, transport, economics and education.

It has been a huge boost to community-led projects worldwide and is the perfect antidote to the despondency towards climate change encouraged by so much of the mainstream media.
