Fin Zaid BenjiIt’s drama season at St Chris with eight different plays being staged in the theatre this term.

Yesterday lunchtime the Drama team were making the maximum use of our facilities in preparation for the busy weeks ahead.

On stage left Mike, our technical manager, was assisted by Eddie and Jon from Year 7 (I Group) in cutting and prepping some corrugated plastic for part of a GCSE Drama set.

Meanwhile on stage right A level Theatre Studies student Charlie put the finishing touches to his set design for Mark Ravenhill’s Pool (No Water) which is being performed on Monday. Tobie (Year 10) and Eddie (Year 7) were on hand to help Charlie with the painting.

Impressively all this was happening in near silence in order to enable Fin, Zaid and Benji in Year 11 (V Group) to run through scenes from their production of R.C. Sheriff’s Journey’s End with Drama teacher and LAMDA tutor Dick Jones.

For more information about performances taking place this term please see the School Calendar.
