Yesterday we invited members of our local community to our annual Christmas Tea.
Residents from St Catherine’s and The White House Nursing Homes as well as other local residents joined us for an afternoon of music by St Chris pupils from the Junior and Senior Schools, which they enjoyed alongside an afternoon tea.
Junior School pupils from Year 5 (E Group) performed Last Christmas with Year 2 (H Group) pupils performing songs from their recent Baubles! production.
From the Senior School, Buster sang Walking in the Air from The Snowman, which he will be performing with the Hitchin Band at St Mary’s Church on Saturday.
Will, Bella and Isabella performed songs from our recent Legally Blonde production; Saul, Sorley, Kitty and Freddie performed Amy Winehouse’s You Know I’m No Good, Raff sang She Used to Be Mine from the musical Waitress, while Ben performing Electricity from Billy Elliot.
The event ended with carols which both audience and performers joined in with.
