Junior School pupils have today packaged up and sent a staggering 4000 crisp packets to Somerset to be made into thermal blankets for people who are homeless.

It takes about 150 packets to make one blanket and they are sealed together using an iron!
Their original target was to collect enough crisp packets to make 10 blankets, but in fact they have gone on to collect enough to make an incredible 26 blankets!

Pictured alongside our Mini Officials Alicia and Dylan, are Cass (Year 6) and Ed (Year 5) who collected a whopping 765 and 322 crisp packets respectively to go towards the target.

Thank you to everyone who brought in their crisp packets and well done Junior School!

We are still collecting donations for the Letchworth Food Bank so please carry on dropping those in to the Junior School.

Thank you for your support!
