All candidates applying to enter Year 7 and Year 9 are automatically considered for an Academic Scholarship based on the outcome of their entrance assessment, including the interview.
Scholarships for entry into Year 12 are awarded following consideration of an applicant’s performance in their GCSE examinations, and their interview with the Head.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate a lively enthusiasm for the subject, as well as proven ability to produce imaginative, thoughtful and creative responses through a variety of media, ideas and approaches.
Parents are asked to indicate their interest in applying for an Art Scholarship at the point of registering for a place.
Candidates are then invited to a 30-minute interview with the Head of Art, to which we ask them to bring samples of their work.
The Admissions team will contact parents with additional information once they have indicated that they are interested in applying.
The deadline for registering interest in an Art Scholarship for entry in September 2024 is Friday 24 November 2023.
St Chris also offers financial assistance (Bursaries) to encourage applications from families who may otherwise not be able to afford the full fees at St Chris. Please click here for further information about Bursaries.
