One of the many sporting events we held during National Sports Week was a Year 7 Inter-house Swimming Competition.  The theme this year is: “Belonging- a place in sport for every child“.

There were high spirits from all and enthusiastic and exuberant chants from the teams as the swimmers sprinted to the finish line with great speed and some excellent technique. The events were varied from the traditional style front crawl and breast stroke races to noodle riding!  Overall, the final scores were Godwin; 32 points, Lytton; 35 points and the overall winning team were Gernon with 38 points, taking the trophy with great pride!   Well done to everyone who took part and supported the event from swimmers to time keepers, teachers and refreshment helpers!
