We had a fantastic Key Stage Three day yesterday with students in Years 7, 8 and 9 (I, II and III Group) out on trips.
Year 7 (I Group) visited the Higgins Museum in Bedford with the Art Department.
Year 8 (II Group) were very luck with the weather for a trip to Kew Gardens. They explored the Palm House, Temperate House and Princess of Wales Conservatory and had a wonderful time in the sunshine, exploring all the different ecosystems on display at Kew.  Spoiler alert: many mothers may benefit from treats from the gift shop on Sunday!
Year 9 (III Group) visited Bletchley Park as part of their work on World War Two. Students were able learn about those who worked at Bletchley Park during the war, especially the women working on code breaking, and Alan Turing.
They also took part in a D-Day workshop, where they were able to break a German code themselves, using a replica enigma machine to help with the D-Day landings in 1944.
