Senior School students have raised an incredible £1,000 this term for Children in Need by taking part in a Readathon organised by the English department.
Head of English Dave Ilott said: “We run the Readathon each year but really promoted it this year and added incentives for the class who could raise the most: two classes raised around £400 each as a result. Special thanks should go to teacher Kirstyn for her enthusiasm and organisation of the event this year.”
Here are Aubert, Maya, Daniel, Freya and Charlie from Kirstyn’s Year 9 (III Group) class who ‘won’ overall – well done to all everyone who took part and thank you to everyone who donated.
