It was lovely to accompany our 15 keen runners out to Fairlands Valley yesterday and see them take part in an event with other schools, especially after last year’s event had to happen virtually!
There was a wonderful comradery within the St Chris Team and support of each other during the races, at the finish line but also when waiting for their ‘turn’. We’re awaiting final results, but it was great to see strong starts from all our runners as well as see the tactical skills of picking up pace towards the line and overtake runners before the funnell to the finish!
Well done to: Amelia, Lucas, Theo, Eitan, Bonham, Ethan and Stan (Year 7); Will and Zach (Year 8) ; Edie, Sorcha, Geva, Archie O and Art (Year 9).
