Congratulations to St Chris PE teacher & Head of Year 8 Lyn McGregor who was Assistant Referee at her first men’s FA Cup game on Saturday for a 1st round qualifying match between Royston Town FC & Mildenhall Town FC.
Lyn has worked hard to fit in her refereeing qualifications in between her busy job at St Chris over the last few years – seriously impressive stuff!
Congratulations also go to Estates Manager Lee Varley who has completed some incredible Ultra walking challenges over the summer completing four 100km continuous walks. Lee did the walks in some amazing times:
- Jurassic Coast 20hrs 07mins (wind and rainstorms)
- Yorkshire 19hrs 15mins (30 degree heat)
- Cotwolds 18hrs 36mins (Perfect walking conditions)
- South Coast 16hrs 30mins (Perfect walking conditions)
