St Chris’s electricity now comes from 100% renewable sources!
We have received our certification to show that 100% of the School’s electricity is renewable and generated by wind and hydro assets. Our certification is fully backed by Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) and independently verified by EcoAct, a CDP Accredited Provider.
Moving to 100% renewable electricity allows us to reduce our carbon footprint and to report zero emissions for our purchased electricity.
This all helps us in our move to become carbon zero – a pledge St Chris made when we signed up to the the national campaign Let’s Go Zero 2030.
As a Green Eco Flag school it also shows our commitment to renewable and sustainable goals.
