Over the last two weeks our Reception class (K Group) have been learning about Elmer the elephant.
Today we rejoiced all things Elmer, with a celebration of all things colourful and bright on Elmer Day.
We dressed up in as many different coloured cloths as we could, some of us even coloured our hair!
Then we read Elmer stories with our friends, made Elmer biscuits and a gigantic Elmer using patchwork felt squares.
We also made our nails as colourful as our clothes by painting them at our nail bar in the home corner, using the skills we’ve been practicing over the last few weeks. It’s been a super fun day!
