Year 6 in the Junior School have been working on a project about the Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship, best known for her privateering circumnavigation of the globe between 1577 and 1580.
Jaisie painted a piece titled ‘The Golden Hinde in a storm’ and Belle has created a video showing a stormy sea as part of the class topic work. The video illustrate the terrible storms that Francis Drake and his crew battled against as they sailed around the world.
