At the weekend students from Years 10 and 11 took part in the FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics competition at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford. The team has been working with a REV robotics kit and building a robot that could collect and stack large blocks while navigating around obstacles in their path. The team had a difficult start as they suffered mechanical issues with the robot. However, they remained resilient and were able to place 2nd out of the 36 teams present. The team has qualified to compete in March in London at the national championships.
