We recently celebrated Chinese New Year across the school.
We decorated Company rooms in the Senior School with Chinese lanterns and ran a multiple choice Chinese New Year quiz during Company time.
At the weekend our boarders visited London and enjoyed the celebrations in China Town. Some of our Chinese boarders, together with houseparent Cecilia, also made a delicious hotpot dinner for their fellow boarders which everyone enjoyed, and there was a delicious Chinese style lunch during the day from the catering team.
In the Junior School, we were lucky to be lent a real Chinese lion costume from the West End to learn to dance with. Our Nursery and Reception children loved it!
