On Thursday, 12 December Alaine Anderson’s Year 9 (III Group) Company held a Bake Sale to support the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal.  Despite the dreary weather the students stayed cheerful, singing Christmas carols and selling cakes and cookies and raised a wonderful 143.50 which was delivered to the Salvation Army Church after School had finished on Friday 13 December.  The minister explained some of the ways the Salvation Army support local residents and Alaine’s Company have already been thinking of ways to raise even more this year …!
