The ever-popular St Chris Bake Off returned this week with Year 11 (V Group) being given the challenge to create their best Swiss Roll!
- Lydia and Ella (Susanne Okulitch’s Company) baked a chocolate apricot surprise;
- Immy and Lara (Rebecca Sweeny’s Company) baked a chocolate roulade;
- Alfie and Gene (Becky Wilson’s Company) baked a vanilla swiss roll with fresh strawberries, jam and cream; and
- Bella and Rosie (also Becky Wilson’s Company) baked a blueberry jam and white chocolate ganache filled vanilla swiss roll.
The standard of the baking was extremely high and the judges found it a tough decision. However, it was decided that the Year 11 (V Group) winners would be Bella and Rosie – well done! They have won a place in the Grand Final later in the year where the St Chris Bake Off Champions will be crowned.
