We’ve had a great day meeting all our new Year 7 (I Group) and Year 12 (Lower Sixth) pupils at their induction day.
Year 7 were surprised this morning by a personal Hogwarts-style letter which even had a wax stamp in the style of the two schools! Each letter included a welcome and a kit list…. including a wand.
Pupils then took part in archery and a treasure hunt before meeting their personal tutors and receiving their timetables.
They then joined the Year 12 pupils and St Chris staff for a BBQ lunch on the Governors’ Lawn.
The Year 12 induction started in the theatre and then pupils bonded over a baking session before moving on to a study skills tutorial and finishing the day with leadership activities.
