The Senior School Knitting Club are busy making tiny bobble hats for the The Big Knit organised by Innocent Smoothies, which raises money for Age UK.
Pupils and staff have made nearly 200 in the last six weeks, and our deadline is 28 June if anyone would like to join in.
The group started knitting in April, having decided to learn to knit. After the June deadline the Club are moving on to knitting hats for babies in Rajasthan, which will be taken out to them during our annual Sixth Form trip there in December.
Club organiser Ann-Marie said: “we’d welcome any knitted contributions from parents or members of our local community – either for the Innocent Big Knit, or for children in Rajasthan – please get in touch by e-mail if you’d like to get involved!”
