On Friday 11 May, the Chair of St Chris’ Be Green Committee, Gianni, organised a student and staff trip to the new zero-waste shop, Bamboo Turtle, in Letchworth Garden City to get ideas on how to reduce the use of single-use plastic within our staff and pupil body.
Gianni said: “The trip was a success with more than ten students from Year 7 coming to the shop. Furthermore nearly everybody, including myself, bought items. One student even loaded up on bamboo toothbrushes!”
