IAN COTTERILL
Ian is married with 2 grown up sons.
After university he qualified as an accountant and held a number of senior financial
management roles in the HSBC Group. He retired in 2003 from HSBC where his last role
was Chief Operating Officer for their Global Corporate and Investment banking businesses.
He has been a resident of Letchworth for over 25 years and in addition to being a Governor
of St Christopher he is a Governor of the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation
and Chairman of the Letchworth Civic Trust. He is a volunteer on the Great Ormond Street Child
Death Helpline and his other interests include studying with the Open University,
painting, golf, squash, theatre and travel.
