Introduction
The object of the company and the charity (in summary) is: "To establish and carry on at Letchworth… or elsewhere one or more Schools or Colleges for the education of girls, boys, or adults of either sex, and to carry on such Schools or Colleges as Interdenominational Schools with religious and ethical teaching based on the broadest principles of national and international fellowship and goodwill, and generally in accordance with the principles, traditions, and aims of St. Christopher School."
The directors of the company, called Governors, are responsible for the management and control of the activities of the charity, namely the running of the School. The Governors act as trustees for the charity and decide the best course for St Christopher School in the interests of current and future beneficiaries. They delegate (within agreed limits) the responsibility for the leadership and management of the School to the School's Head who reports to the Governors on a regular basis.
The Board of Governors is made up of a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 3 Governors, of whom 2 must be actively engaged in educational work. The School's Governors currently are:

Meher Pocha is the nominated Governor for Safeguarding Children
