Family atmosphere
"Everyone's very sociable in the house and people from different year groups get on really well together. The Houseparents are very knowledgeable and can advise you on your school work - they become very close to you, like an uncle or aunt…it's a big family atmosphere!"
Time to study
"I have an hour and a quarter of homework every evening; my age group does homework in the ICT department but older students can do their homework in their rooms."
Time to relax
"There are different activities available in the evenings: on Tuesdays, for example, we go down to the swimming pool. It's always a lot of fun. When we go to the Sports Hall, we can do all kinds of things from catching tennis balls to playing basketball."
Rise and shine
"It's still difficult to wake up but there's always a member of staff around to make sure we do!
